Paradise for the watersports and fishing enthusiast! Isla has it’s own private fishing deck/pier where my kids and I spend our afternoons and evenings fishing for all sorts of species. When conditions are good, we take out our river boat. To me, this place is the best getaway… So tranquil and an endless list of things to do in the immediate vacinity…
My family’s preferred getaway in the Eastern Cape Area. Abdul Malik and Sadia are always very helpful. They go the extra mile to ensure that guests are always as happy as possible at the lodge. When I go to other places, I often find myself wondering which accomodation to choose. In Gqeberha, there’s no need to even think twice. We just book in at Isla immediately, because we know the service is A-tier.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. I’ve not stayed at many places with sunsets as breathtaking. To just sit on the patio and overlook the river at sunset is the most peaceful and relaxing thing in the world…
Isla and it’s staff make lodging for business trips feel like a vacation. I don’t think there is another place where I’d rather stay when I need to be out on that side. I fail to understand how such outstanding accomodation and service can be available at this price point. Five stars from me!
Decided to experience the Garden Route and Stopped off in PE. This was one of the nicest Lodges that my daughter and I have stayed at. The level of service is outstanding and the rooms are very comfortable.
